Saturday also happens to be Lord Hanuman Jayanti – fans, well-wishers and party activists have described that they had seen and received the good news of the kid recovering on the auspicious day. Chiranjeevi (Pawan’s brother) who is a staunch devotee of Lord Hanuman echoed a similar sentiment the other day that the Lord protected and saved the kid on the eve of Hanuman Jayanti. He also thanked all those who expressed concern over the kid’s health condition and prayed for his recovery.

Mark Shankar suffered injuries to his hands and legs when the fire accident broke out in the school. Due to smoke inhalation into his lungs, he also underwent several tests and procedures – bronchoscopy treatment – as part of the treatment.

Earlier, speaking about his son and the accident, Pawan shared that he wasn’t aware of the magnitude of damage and the fire accident initially. He said, “Later, I learnt that several children were injured, and a kid lost life, it pained me extremely. A few construction workers who are working nearby immediately rushed to the spot and did the initial rescue operation.”
