Meagan Good was by Jonathan Majors’ side throughout his biggest trials and tribulations.

Months after the Creed III actor was arrested for the assault and harassment of his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in March 2023, he and the Harlem actress sparked romance rumors during an outing at a movie theater in Los Angeles. And despite the highly publicized trial that awaited him, Meagan shared insight into why she stuck by him through it all.

“We didn’t plan to start dating and we didn’t plan to be seen out together,” Meagan, 43, told The Hollywood Reporter in a joint interview with Jonathan, 35, published March 14. “But once we were in a relationship, it was like, ‘Hey, this is what’s happening.’”

And along with supporting him behind the scenes, Meagan accompanied him to court each day during his two-week trial.

“People tend to move out of the way out of concern for their careers or their reputations,” she continued. “To me, that’s not real love. If you know someone and if you believe in someone, it’s not conditional.”
