Having kids has transformed the shape of Ed Sheeran.
The “Perfect” singer revealed that his lifestyle has changed “very dramatically” since he and his wife of six years Cherry Seaborn welcomed their daughters Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran, 4, and Jupiter Seaborn Sheeran, 2.
Most notably, Ed shared that he’s stopped “being a f–king maniac with drink and drugs and smoking.”
“I exercise now—I never exercised before,” the Grammy winner told Alex Cooper on the April 9 episode of her Call Her Daddy podcast. “I get up in the morning, rather I used to sleep until 4 p.m.”
Noting that he’s now an “early riser and an early bedtimer,” he continued, “I have two very young girls at home, so I’m up at 5:30 a.m. every morning.”
And parenthood has also altered the way Ed navigates his music career. As he explained, “I’m home more. My work schedule is based around them rather than based around me.”
