Ella Purnell, the lead actress in Prime Video’s hit series Fallout, has shared an honest look at her fitness routine and approach to wellness. Surprisingly, the 29-year-old English actor revealed that she did not follow a strict or intense workout plan for the physically demanding role.
In a recent interview on the video series Well Said, Purnell explained, “I’ve never had to do a workout routine for a role before.” She added that she feels fortunate, especially compared to actors who face extreme physical training requirements. However, she did try one fitness activity that truly tested her limits—a reformer Pilates class. Reflecting on the experience, Ella said candidly, “That was no joke. I will not be doing that again.”
Focusing on Daily Movement and Balance
Rather than structured workouts, Purnell focuses on staying active throughout the day. She believes consistent movement plays a key role in maintaining overall health. According to her, wellness is built on four main pillars: getting eight hours of sleep, drinking plenty of water, exercising regularly, and eating three healthy meals a day.
Still, she admits that balancing all four is challenging. “No human can do all four,” she said. “Every human that I know struggles in one of those departments.” Her perspective highlights a realistic and relatable approach to fitness and well-being.
