Are you ready to meet the wing leader?

As Amazon MGM Studios continues to work on the TV adaptation of the Fourth Wing fantasy books, Josh Heuston had an eyebrow-raising response when asked if he would be playing leading man Xaden Riorson.

“You have to ask the scribes, I suppose,” the Thor: Love and Thunder actor quipped at the Last of Us season two premiere and Max Australia launch, before confirming he’s aware of the rumors he could be playing either Xaden or his cousin Bodhi. 

So, how would Heuston feel about being called Xaden?

“Interesting,” he said, “yeah, that’s a great nickname.”

But does it suit him? As the 28-year-old put it, “Hopefully, who knows?”

While casting details about Fourth Wing are under wraps, book author Rebecca Yarros gave some fiery insight on what fans can expect of TV adaptation, which centers on dragon riders at the fictional Basgiath War College as they train as part of the Fourth Wing of the Riders Quadrant.
