Bollywood actress Jacqueliene Fernandez’s mother, Kim Fernandez, has passed away. On March 24, she fell sick and was admitted to the ICU at Lilavati Hospital. The actress rushed back home from her overseas work commitments to be with her mother. After fighting for her life for almost two weeks, Kim breathed her last today on April 6. Not too many details are available right now on the cause of the death; however, reports state that she was admitted to the hospital after suffering a heart stroke. Kim Fernandez had a similar health scare back in 2022 when she suffered a heart attack.

Jacqueliene keeps her private life away from the media, but she has been vocal about the relationship she has with her mother. She once said, “My mom always supported me. I miss her a lot. I live here alone without my parents. There are these two people who have been so strong, and they have been such an inspiration for me which always keeps me going.”

Talking further about how her parents always supported her and never stopped her from doing anything, she added, “They never stopped me from doing anything. When I told my mom that I am joining the Miss Sri Lanka contest, she said ‘Okay, cool’ and when I said, ‘Mom, I am moving to India’, then also she was like ‘Okay’.”

The actress also cancelled her IPL performance last month due to her mother’s health. She was set to perform at the match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati but missed the event as her mother was admitted to the ICU.

On the work front, Jacqueliene will be seen in Welcome To The Jungle and Housefull 5. She was last seen in Fateh alongside Sonu Sood. She is known for movies including Aladin, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai, Murder 2, Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen and more.
