While details about the illness or sudden sickness haven’t been confirmed, Jacqueliene’s mom had a similar health scare in 2022. She stays in Manama, Bahrain and was admitted to a hospital in Bahrain after suffering a stroke. She is of Malaysian and Canadian descent. Her maternal grandfather is Canadian and her great-grandparents were from Goa in India.

Jacqueliene keeps her private life away from the media, but she has been vocal about the heartwarming relationship she has with her mother. “My mom always supported me. I miss her a lot. I live here alone without my parents. There are these two people who have been so strong and they have been such an inspiration for me which always keeps me going,” she noted.

“They never stopped me from doing anything. When I told my mom that I am joining the Miss Sri Lanka contest, she said ‘Okay, cool’ and when I said, ‘Mom, I am moving to India’, then also she was like ‘Okay’,” she added. Opening up further, she noted that her mother never judged her, even when she did not make the best decisions.

On the professional front, Jacqueliene hasn’t announced any projects yet. However, she was last seen in Fateh, alongside Sonu Sood. She is known for movies including Aladin, Jaane kahan se aayi hai, Murder 2, Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen and more.
