Amid the fight of her life, Katie Thurston is a bachelorette no more.

The Bachelor Nation alum and comedian Jeff Arcuri announced on social media March 23 that they have gotten married. The news, which they shared on their Instagram Stories, comes six months after they went public with their engagement and one month after Katie announced that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

The 34-year-old married Jeff, 37, an intimate ceremony in the backyard of their home March 22, with their newly adopted puppy Charlie and their parents in attendance, Us Weekly reported, adding that they later celebrated at a dinner at a New York City restaurant.

The Bachelorette star shared photos showing herself wearing a cream, knit SER.O.YA maxi dress and Jeff sporting a khaki suit with no tie.

Per the outlet, the couple tied the knot five days before Katie is set to begin her cancer treatment, adding that she will be part of the I-Spy breast cancer trial, which could involve several rounds of chemotherapy. She then plans to undergo surgery.
