Machine Gun Kelly Slams Critic for “Random Hate Narrative” About Him

Machine Gun Kelly is pushing back.

The singer responded to music reviewer Jesea Lee‘s critique of his new song, “Your Name Forever,” which is a tribute to his late friend Luke “The Dingo” Trembath, the professional snowboarder who died suddenly in February at the age of 38.

Jesea, for his part, said of the track, “There’s people that are gonna hate this just because it’s MGK.”

“This song is for one of my best friends who just passed away,” MGK commented March 18 under Jesea’s video. “Why would you insert a random comment about ‘you might hate this because it’s mgk’ – don’t comment about something that our hearts are broken over if your [sic] going to bring that energy.”

The “Lonely Road” hitmaker (real name Colson Baker) asked for the critic to rein it in when discussing his work.

“Quit pushing random hate narrative about me,” he added. “i do nothing but show love and help progress the genre you report about.”

The 33-year-old—who is expecting his first baby with ex Megan Fox—posted a screenshot of his comment to his Instagram Stories, writing, “some of yall are cooked smh.”
