The scene is set at Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—the second-tallest building in the world. Pugh, who reprises her role as the sharp and skilled Yelena Belova, is seen harnessed up, beaming with excitement just moments before initiating a base jump from the towering skyscraper. “Any stunt in any movie, this is amazing,” she says, with genuine awe and adrenaline in her voice.
While it’s unclear how much of the actual jump was performed by her versus a stunt double, the featurette reveals a stunt performer soaring from the tower and deploying a parachute mid-air.
