For Morgan Wallen, there’s been a lot of talk about last Saturday night.
Specifically, the singer’s sudden exit from Saturday Night Live, where he was the musical guest March 29.
At the end of the night, Wallen joined host Mikey Madison on the stage as she closed out the show. But after giving the Anora star a quick hug, he walked off the stage before the credits rolled.
Shortly after, Wallen posted a photo to his Instagram Stories that showed an airplane sitting on a runway and wrote, “Get me to God’s country.”
It was a move that left about everyone confused, including Kenan Thompson.
“I don’t know what goes through people’s minds when they decide to do stuff like that,” the SNL star told Entertainment Weekly March 31. “I don’t know if he understood the assignment or not, or if he was really feeling a certain kind of way.”
“You see somebody before you get a chance to say hi or say good job or anything like that, they just dipping,” he continued. “I thought maybe he had to go to the potty or something….Seems like a complicated individual, I guess.”
