Ram Charan’s highly awaited pan-India film, Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, has already made a significant buzz with its genre, title and plotline. The initial first two striking first-look posters have set up the tone for the film. On the auspicious occasion of  Ram Navami, the makers unveiled First Shot, and also announced the film’s release date – March 27, 2026.

Ram Charan’s rugged new look, featuring long hair, a thick beard, and a nose ring, enhances the rawness and the authenticity of his character. His diction in Uttarandhra (Vizianagaram) slang is captivating. The actor’s dialogue in the opening sequence sums up his idea and philosophy about life. The First Shot opens on a cricket ground where the crowd cheers for Peddi as Ram Charan makes a power-packed entrance. His antics before hitting the ball out of the park is magnificent. His entrance is nothing short of iconic, with the dialogue delivery adding to the intensity. Ram Charan’s single dialogue is a powerful statement that leaves a lasting impact.  The First Shot truly serves up an adrenaline-pumping moment for the fans.

Ram Charan, for the first time, will speak in Vizianagaram slang. His magnetic mass appeal coupled with director Buchi Babu’s sharp writing and shots has raised the expectations of the film which is set to release on March 26, 2026.  Timed perfectly with Ram Charan’s birthday, the film promises to offer a great cinematic experience, and a feast for his fans and cine goers alike. Academy Award-winning AR Rahman score elevates the narrative while the visuals captured by cinematographer R Rathnavelu are rich. No soon the first shot was out, fans have been raving about Charan’s rugged makeover. The first shot instantly clicked with the fans who were talking about the actor’s charm and makeover. Janhvi Kapoor is playing Charan’s love interest in Peddi, which has wrapped up more than 40 percent of the shooting.

Debutant producer Venkata Satish Kilaru is bankrolling the film on a massive scale under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas. Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are presenting the film. Avinash Kolla is serving as the production designer, and Navin Nooli is handling the editing.
