The teaser of Salman Khan’s next film Sikandar has left his fans impressed. It was released yesterday amid much hype and anticipation. The AR Murugadoss film will also see Rashmika Mandanna romance Khan on-screen for the first time. During the trailer launch event, the superstar was asked about the age gap between Rashmika and him and his answer has gone viral.
Talking about the same, he said, “When the heroine doesn’t have a problem, why do you have a problem? When she gets married and has a daughter, I will work even with her daughter. Mom will give permission.”
He also praised the Animal actress for her dedicated and stated that she reminds him of his younger self. The actor said, “Rashmika was shooting for Pushpa 2 till 7 pm. She would come to Sikandar set at 9 pm and shoot with us till 6:30 am, and then go back to Pushpa. She was not well also. After breaking her leg, she continued to shoot, didn’t cancel a day. In many ways, she reminds me of a younger me.”
Besides Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, Sikandar also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Suneil Shetty, Sharman Joshi and Prateik Babbar.
About Sikandar’s Trailer
The trailer opens with Salman Khan’s character in action. As Rashmika’s character mentions, he’s known by many names – Raja ji, Sanjay and Sikandar. The actor gives off the vibe of the quintessential ’80s or ’90s hero. It has a barrage of stylised action scenes, quotable dialogues and romance. Rashmika Mandanna who marks her first collaboration with Salman Khan plays his love interest. Their chemistry in the trailer is on point. The clip also offers a glimpse of Sathyaraj who plays the role of a corrupt politician and Kajal Aggarwal who plays an educated homemaker.
Sikandar will be released theatrically on March 30.
