The actor spoke about how her perspective has evolved over the years. “When I entered this industry in my 20s, the number of endorsements and projects was seen as a symbol of success. I believed that if multinational brands wanted me, it meant I had arrived,” she said. When she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, she reassessed her lifestyle and choices.

“I used to consume many of the products I endorsed, believing there were no consequences. I couldn’t have been more wrong,” she admitted. “Today, I feel my younger self should apologise to my older self,” Samantha said, adding that she now encourages her younger fans to avoid thinking they’re invincible in their 20s.

Addressing old advertisements still circulating online, Samantha clarified that those were from earlier collaborations. “Last year alone, I walked away from 15 endorsements. It was a huge revenue loss, but it felt right,” she said.

Samantha’s latest and upcoming projects
Samantha was last seen in the OTT space with Citadel: Honey Bunny alongside Varun Dhawan. She is also set to star in the action-fantasy series Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom. The actress is currently on a roll with an interesting lineup of projects that involve acting and producing. She recently wrapped filming for Subham, her debut production under her production house Tralala Moving Pictures. She also announced Bangaram, a Telugu-language film produced by her. The film also stars the talented actress.
